A concert of Baroque music, with Michael Haydn’s Missa Tempore Quadragesimae on the programme, and a diversion into French mélodie, arranged for choir (Hugo, Wilder and Bussine) through chords and delicate melodies (reflected in Offenbach’s Barcarolle). Last but not least, there’s contemporary music from American composer Dan Forest, whose compositions combine fervent words with syncopated rhythms, directly inspired by Bernstein’s West Side Story!

Dominique Rodriguez – Piano, Jacques Charpentier – Musical Director

Venue: Vignonet church

Access to the concert 30 minutes beforehand.
